Bought the plug that the verts had. Haven't tried to put it in yet though. I jsut got it yesterday.

Sounds good , I would love to see pics, it seems that the autometer bezel is not molded quite as precisely as the factory piece, so I'm wondering if the factory plug will fit well in the aftermarket bezel.

I doubt it does. I'll probably have to fix it in there somehow. But it will look good once it's done.

I have the guage bezel with lunar series fuel pressure and boost guages. The fit was fine. I did stuff the rubber liner thing on the under side of the bezel. The bezel will pull up when tightened.

Unfortunately there are no clips for the thing to snap into place. You will have to use those supplemental screws. It doesn't look bad. I used the ford dash plug for the defrost button. I tried every variety of pillar pod on my vert, but there is not one that fits nicely. The guage bezel was the best alternative. The color is not that noticeable either.

Just another opinion.....
