Ok guys, talk some sense into me.

Need to transport a 69 Mustang from Wichita to Denver.

All the big transport companies are heading to Monterey and therefore booked for 6 weeks.

Don't really feel comfortable handing this off to a broker.

Options:
#1: Wait 6 weeks.
#2: Rent an enclosed car hauler and drive it back myself. I'll admit I'm comfortable towing but nervous about strapping this down. I can do it but oh man, I'd be tore up if there was damage during the trip.
#3: F-it. Fly to Wichita and road trip it back.

1. I have a guy that will ship it to you and you'd have it by Tuesday. Waiting 6 weeks is dumb.
2. If you have the time, that would be fun. It's a short drive. Strapping it down isn't hard. Would be more than happy to talk you through it.
3. This would be fun too!

Oh man nice. Drive it back for the most fun. That’s the only sense I have for you.

I would love driving it back, but a lot of things could go wrong. Do you know how "reliable" it is?
