Auto. Transmission replacement 2011 GT

So I just bought a 2011 Convertible GT because it's one of my favorite stylings and by some miracle I was able to afford the V8. Part of that I believe is due to the car having over 100,000 miles on it. I realize that with this mileage and my plans for the car that my transmission is going to die sooner or later. I was wondering with all of your collective knowledge if anyone knows how to get a new OEM automatic transmission, or even better, maybe an upgraded version of one?

I'm pretty new to this site, so any and all help would be much appreciated.

That 6r80 is a beast is all I know from what I read about it.

Are you planning on going faster than 9's in the 1/4 with your new Vert? Stock 6R80 cars have gone deep into the 9's. I wouldn't worry about the trans.

Thanks for the info, I was just worried about overall wear and tear because it will still be my daily. If you think it will hold up I'll put off my worrying until it's needed

It’ll hold up. There are plenty guys in the 8’s and 9’s with 6R80.
