Thread Title: Audiophiles might really like this new Mustang.

IMO, Yes, they (Audiophiles) might like the new Mustang, but not the sound System.

The problem with tweeters mounted in the A-Pillars, they are hard to calibrate/blend Properly with the rest of the system, They do help with positioning the front stage.

Most cars with Just Tweeters in the A-pillars, sound like a Mad Dentist Drilling into your ears.

Now, the overwhelming majority of people are not Audiophiles, they will be very happy with the sound system. As a rule, Audiophiles are never happy/satisfied-->

^^^This. I was involved with very high end audio for years. Almost all competition guys want the tweeter low and away (near the mid bass). Most guys want them in the kick panel so they don't have to use much time correction. High Tweeters typically destroy imaging and create a nightmare scenario for time correction. One tweeter is a foot from your ear and the other is three foot (not good).

High A pillar tweets can be made to sound good but I highly doubt Ford to the time, energy and money to do it. This system is probably going to represent power which will equal "loudness" which for most non informed consumers will equal "good"....
