That’s right next door to Caesar's right? It's been in talks for quite some time now. One of the proposed sites is where the Tropicana Hotel/Casino is on The Strip. The Tropicana should have been imploded years ago anyway.
AAA games as in the minors, one step below the big leagues?
No. Wrong intersection. Caesars is right near the Flamingo Rd/Strip intersection. Tropicana is at the Tropicana Rd/Strip intersection. Right across from the MGM.That’s right next door to Caesar's right?
The city of Oakland has been getting ****ed for a while. First The Warriors moved from Oakland to San Fran in 2019. Then in 2020 the Raiders left for Vegas and now the A's are likely gone.I was partially listening to the local news last night and apparently stadium funding fell through for the latest proposal. I didn't pay close attention because I was looking at Mustangs on Autotrader. LOL
I couldn’t recall, have only been twice.No. Wrong intersection. Caesars is right near the Flamingo Rd/Strip intersection. Tropicana is at the Tropicana Rd/Strip intersection. Right across from the MGM.
It's worth going back every few years or so since The Strip constantly changes.I couldn’t recall, have only been twice.
Planning on going in October to visit some family friends. I have stayed at Caesars and another smaller casino off the strip previously. Any suggestions? It's worth going back every few years or so since The Strip constantly changes.
In my opinion it's always worth paying up to stay at the nicer places. More amenities and overall better experience. Many have visited and stayed in cheaper places and wished they had paid up for better accommodations.Planning on going in October to visit some family friends. Wynn, Cosmo, Bellagio (although that is more for couples IMO). Michael is right, pay the extra $ for the higher end hotels. Or you can rent out my house 15 minutes off the strip...pool and gated community. I have a full bar but I fall asleep by 10pm, even though I'm not that old. So Vegas would go from ZERO pro teams to having 3, just since 2017 (Knights 1st season).....
Sports have completely changed our economy in Vegas. Not only the Knights and Raiders, but we have the 2024 Super Bowl and 2028 Final Four. We also just had the Sweet 16. And the biggest, most expensive sport coming? F1! It will make the Super Bowl look like a middle school event. This shit is gonna be nuts. Corporations and people are shelling out hundreds of thousands to reserve space along the track. F1 Vegas may end up being the biggest international sporting event the country has ever seen.
