We were coming home from the airport last night around 11:30 p.m. in the construction zone on I96. Not many cars at that time, and most moving between 60 and 70. A guy on a bike came flying up and based on how quickly he came up and was gone had to be doing close to 100 weaving between cars. Dangerous thing to be doing that late when there are people who have been drinking and not fully alert to what is happening.

I my fastest speed was an indicated 167mph on a naked bike.
I compare it to the waterslides at the waterpark. Going 100-120 can be fun like the twisty slides. Going much faster than that is like that one slide that goes straight down. It's terrifying, not fun and you only do it to tell people that you've done it. lol

Exactly…. A buck 30 is about all I care to do on a bike or in car.. I had my Z06 up around 170+ one late night on the beltway, no thank you, won’t be doing that again. If I am going that fast it better have wings.

130 is a simple cruising control speed...

On the autobahn, the big problem here are left lane campers and morons that can’t stay in their lane. They would never get a drivers license in germany. Hell the Germans would probably put them up against a wall and shoot them after the driving test.

My wife and I were driving on I-95 this afternoon and a bike club biker was doing well over 80 weaving in and out and between cars. We both said, sooner or later he's going to kill himself. A lot of biker play russian roulette with their bikes while believing they're somehow invinceable.

Truth! Especially if you’re running 120+ for an extended period. It keeps feeling more like when instead of if.

I had a visor on a cheap helmet blow open at 150mph once. That was pretty exciting. Lol

No shit??? You liying….

167mph is exactly the top speed I hit with my 954 in the WY/CO area….

I hit 160-165ish with my Z06 down in FL…. It was racing a very nicely highly modded Hamann stroker V8 M3… it was a tight race, but of course I edged him out… Really REALLY wish I would have gotten the races with that car on video

Yep, 167 on the speedo of my 2008 FZ1. I was northbound on I25 just south of Loveland, CO. I actually bought it new when I was selling bikes at Fort Collins Motorsports.

dafuq out of here…. I bought mine new in Ft. Collins Motorsports… I also did the 167 in I-25, south of Cheyenne in the Colorado side… there was a nice several miles straight strip of hwy that was great for that (when the wind didnt have you riding at a 70 degree angle….

Ft. Collins had the most amazing burrito place… Big City Burrito…. I’d pay $50 dollars to try one of them again!
