Stage 4 ported blower, BA2400, air filter, 2.76 upper, 4lb lower, afco h/e, and catback.

Tuned with a sct xcal3 car made 465/440. Tuner said the maf is maxed out. Reading 930 counts.

Motor is rebuilt with stock rods and Wiseco 10.4:1 pistons.

Those numbers are definitely low, my car with about the same setup was low but I'm having leakdown in a couple cylinders. I don't see how a 2400 is maxed at that power range though, but do a compression and leakdown test, how much boost are you making?

Those numbers are more in the range of an upper only non ported car, I'm not sure if the high compression pistons might have an effect on it though

Higher compression pistons should net you MORE power with less boost. What are your IAT2's? maybe 16 PSI is too much for such a high compression motor on a eaton and the car is making too much heat? 2.76 and 4 lbs lower seem like way to much. Back in the day I made 494 on a dynojet with just a 2,76 upper.

Check your MAF or try a stock MAF with a MAF extender. You shouldn't be having issues. I am running just a bit more power than you ;) and I am still on a stock maf with extender. I have been running it since my ported days. If the tuner is still having trouble, then switch tuners. low numbers can also be caused by tuners having no clue what they are doing aswell. lol

Stock H pipe? Numbers are still low regardless but the stock H isn't going to make good power. I bet a O/RX will help your numbers a lot. Or go all out and do longtubes. I don't see how the Maf is pegged either. Is this a reputable tuner?

Correction, pistons are 8.8:1. I was just informed by the prior owner.

That is pretty close to stock then, I would definitely run a compression and leakdown test if I were you, sounds like you may be in the same boat as I am

Who's tuning it? I made 463/456 on a humid day with just a 4# lower unported and stock pullied eaton...but I have a phenomenal tuner

Deff not right there. How much timing is on it? torque's super low.

These numbers would be more believable on a non ported blower.

Dynos can read different though. how much timing?

These motors can do 460 whp on a stock maf, so not sure how yours is maxing out.

Sounds like the meter is getting too hot or failing. That meter shouldn't peg til 650rwhp in that area. I make 505rwhp daily driver 2.76 upper stock lower ported eaton stock tb. We are in Deltona which is north of Orlando give us a call we could probably set you up with a tune and do some datalogging back in forth. A leakdown would help but not explain why the MAF is pegged.

..

Car has a few issues for sure.. Meter did hit 930 counts and didn't seem to want to rev the full rpm.. Appears to have major belt residue all over snout of supercharger as well. Car is breathing through stock H pipe with stock looking plenum and throttle body with a small inlet pipe.. I've already been speaking with him and we will get it straightened out for him. I did not go as aggressive as I could have on the spark so there is probably some power left there, but like I told Adam don't go chasing a dyno number until we fix some issues its just not worth it..

I think it needs some inlet and exhaust upgrades and belt slip needs to be addressed before he can turn the wick up anymore..
