Apten Install Question

For those that installed the apten ported blowers or had shops install them did you replace the lower intake manifold to head gaskets? Apten's instructions say that they can be reused but I was just wondering on what other people did. Mine probably only have about 500 miles on them if that much and looked good when I tipped the blower back to remove the intercooler cap bolts.

I did not, some people do. Probably not a bad idea though. Certainly not a neccesity. Your gaskets probably only have a few thousand miles on them.

i did my swap at 5000 miles and reused all my gaskets , no problems at all. good luck!!

For 10 bucks---why wouldnt you replace them??? Im for after they have been compressed once throw em out.

I replaced them. I actually installed all new gaskets. Cheap insurance I felt.
