So i drove 4.5 hours on friday to go pick up what I was told was a Kenne Bell 2.1 supercharger. Turns out, after confirming with kenne bell, its the 1.5. However, they reassured me for my current goals (10psi up to 400hp or so) that this is more than fine for what I want. Heck, I even found some old threads of guys getting 450-470 out of these. My question is, are there any tips/tricks to getting above 400 with this that people have learned over the years? It's just a nice weather only convertible cruiser so being a little aggressive is ok. It came with a 2 3/8" pulley so it's pretty small and hopefully will achieve 10psi. I've already got a bigger fuel pump on the way and 39# injectors, and already received a sct bA2600 maf. Deleting imrc's as well. Anything else to help?

Thanks.

I am right around 420 with a power chip from kb
I was also told changing the pulley can get you 450 to 460
I do plan on swapping it eventually

I would think modifying the heads would give more

No the kenne bell blower inlet is the restriction it flows 500ish cfm after doing the mod I did it flowed1000 cfm my boost went from 9 to 12psi without a change in pulley that’s over 100 hp from inlet restriction as it’s worth more than regular boost alone 35-40hp per psi over standard 20-30 psi per lb of boost

Looks like you made it wider on the inside and a bit longer
Correct me if I am wrong
I may try that

Yeah that extra 110 rwhp was a crazy pick up the blower is maxed out I even went to a 2.25 inch pulley after and spray a ton of water methanol pre and post blower to keep things cool I haven’t dynoed since I added the smaller pulley but I’d say 530-550 rwhp is plenty especially in my case the car weighs about 2900lb without me in it. I’m thinking about spraying a 50 dry shot just to cool the blower some more and that should net me another 75-100 hp due to the cooling

Venom’s inlet mod and an intercooler setup is all us 96-98 guys ever needed back in 2003.

Ah well.
