Had JLTs on both sides of my 2013 GT500 before I upgraded to a Bob's on the passenger side only. Anyone install on your GT350 yet? I know we don't have intercoolers to worry about clogging anymore, but is there any benefit to be had?

If you notice press pictures of the Rs, they all had Bob's on the passenger side.

Those were the Track Tour cars and the separators are not stock. Ford Performance will have OEM quality separators available any day now.

Tob posted a pic from the owner's manual where Ford recommends adding catch cans if you run it on a track.

Any car that experiences sustained engine braking and lots of throttle / revs should have one. This car is more of all of those things lol.

The instruction sheet for this oem separator says "On GT350 installations additional adjustments of the electrical harness is necessary to clear oil separator" so it appears this is also for the 5.2L engine. Suggested retail price $189.

Well that's a good thing because I installed one on my GT350 a couple of days ago.

Ok now I'm confused. Just got off phone with ford racing techs who say both sides if tracking car and one side for street. Here is the confusion, first he said on passenger side then he said someone was saying something different and put me on hold. He came back on in few minutes and said apparently on GT350 you put it on the driver's side. I said don't you usually put it on passenger side And he said yes but apparently something is different about thus pcv system. Has anyone heard this?

I'd run both for now. The cars are too new to know exactly what they are going to do. However, yes the 5.0 mostly needed it on the pass. side.

Sorry double post. Steve at Bob's said he was being told both sides were needed and they only have a passenger one. They are working on a driver's side one and hope to have it in a few weeks.

Any thoughts on Bob's vs OEM catch cans? Ford now has a driver's side one. M-6766-A50S is part number.

I don't have a link but call Ford Racing tech line 800-FORD788. They are the folks who told me about the drivers side part.

Interesting that the Tech Line would be giving out a part number that their own wholesale parts dealer network admits doesn't even exist yet. They've been provided no information to date on a driver side separator. Management must be hard at work getting that rear seat delete kit done first.:bored:
