I still don't know how my car passed inspection without cats. They plugged the computer into the car underneath the steering wheel and it still passed. Does this mean there might be a tune already on the car that tells the computer that I still have cats? If I got an SCT/Bama tune would I fail my inspection next time?
You shouldn't have passed the visual inspection , but if the car doesn't have any codes on it you will pass Obd scan . It just means you've got a tune or mil eliminators to stop the codes from being thrown.
