I searched this forum and did not find anything.
Anybody running one? I just ordered one through my friend since he's a dealer for them and was wondering if anybody had any fitment issues or anything i should be worried about?

I searched this forum and did not find anything.

Two possibilities:
1. You are lying and did not search.
2. You did not use the search function correctly.

This topic has been debated as much as catbacks on 03 Cobras.
Cliffs: get a BMR

All the stupid sites to upload images are blocked at work.
also, i do not believe this site lets you attach images to your post? otherwise i would put my screen shot.

Go head and search "UPR K-member" in the 2011+ Mustang section and i guarantee you, you won't come up with any thread specifically for this topic. Mine (this thread) as a matter of fact shows as the very first one to come up now. :rollseyes

Get on a computer and it will tell you what words were not included in your search. All 3 letter combinations are too short. Has to be 4 or more letters...just how this board is setup.

The K-Member that they based theirs off of, was our old design.

It should not show any fitment issues, as our old one didn't. BUT....our old design was designed for a 2005-2010 Mustang.....

That said, you need to ensure that when you install it.....you retain the factory spec/geometry on the steering rack. Depending on how they "modified", or implemented the EPAS fitment into their design - you may need to purchase a bumpsteer kit. I think they just have you (customer) use spacers to space up the rack higher, so everything clears....but be careful not to raise it too high, as the EPAS Rack to Oil Pan clearance is pretty close.

Good luck!

Woo Woo OP you are being pulled over by the search police. Illegal procedure of the search function.

Did you not know there are TONS of UPR K-member threads?

You have long earned my business, just FYI lol
I went with UPR for some other reasons, but i will buy the rest of my suspension and what not through you/your company. I can tell by your customer service alone that you are top notch.

Thank you for the help on a product that isn't even yours. Awesome info!

No problem.

Let me know if you have any issues. I have more knowledge and experience with an S197 K-Member than anyone in the world. Always happy to help.

You must have missed this from another thread.

Just thought I would share this. I had a shop come purchase our K-Member, and he brought the piece he was replacing it for, with him.

Going back and forth with ordering UPR or BMR. It seems to me like most go with BMR, heavy mild steel and mig welds are cool but light weight chrome Moly and tig welds are porno hot!!

^ It's 2.5lbs.

That said, we have never, and will never build a K-Member from CM.

we have the bmr and upr, all the bmr stuff will be on sale for black Friday 15% off, and 5% off upr.

both are good pieces. I think either would hold up very well. we run the bmr piece on the blue car
