I have lots of Family in the Barkriver, Gladstone area. We visit once in a while, but live down here near milwaukee.
I'm surprised there really isn't anybody from the u.p. I guess most people have big trucks where I live haha.

I have relatives from St. Ignace to Gladstone. And a friend with a summer cabin near Barraga. I'm from the Detroit area, but am moving to AuSable Twp. fairly soon. I'll probably be the only L driver for hundreds of miles also.:whine:

My rents have a house just downriver from Sault Ste. Marie. I'm usually up in th U.P. once every other month. I never EVER see another decent looking car/any kind of near sports car after I cross the bridge into the U.P. It's awkward to drive into the Sault for groceries and stuff and have my car stared at by 80% of the people thinking "wtf is that?"
We try to drag our popup to Brimley & White fish once a year!
