So is the money you have in there redeemable?

no definitive answer yet....we are being told that it is, but since the cashout option has disappeared i can't be certain. i'm very concerned to say the least

If you played real cash games and tournaments, of course.

Tony, I hope you get your money out! I pulled my money out long ago when there were more and more rumors of the sites being seized.

I play from time to time. This thread gave me the itch so I might go take a ride up to the casino today. Can't play online anymore.

luckily i've never been a big online player. I would hate to have my bankroll tied up in a site right now. The WSOP is going to get hurt big this year.

To the OP, I would start out with small tournaments, $20 or so and just see how the play goes, how bets are made, etc. Try not to bluff a lot, it'll bite you in the ass but if people are checking after the flop and turn, make a decent bet portraying you have a good hand. This of course may not always work. I've learned over the few years that I've been playing to not play every hand you think looks good, in fact maybe 1 in 8 seems to be about the norm for me if that.

Do not go chasing the straight or flush on the river, the odds are against you. I'm no pro or semi pro like some on here but enjoy playing the game, try to be consistent with your posture whether you have a monster hand or a shitty one, that will be your tell as discussed earlier. I'm a small timer and just started playing cash and prefer tournaments better, cash gets frustrating when you see your stack dwindle over a few hands.

However, I did win enough money this weekend to pay to have my gears installed, $200. So I'm pretty stoked about that. I played at a casino for the first time with $100, had my aces cracked third hand into it and it cost me $80 (that hurt) but I came back and brought it up to $200.

One last thing, if you are the small blind and noone has raised yet, it costs you next to nothing to call even if you have a shitty starting hand. It's worth seeing a flop at least, I've caught trips, straights off the flop by doing this but everyone has their own method of madness.
