any one weld on quad tips to their mufflers?

Magnaflow makes a quad tip muffler for the 10-12s and it comes with a template to cut the bumper. Can't be too hard for someone to copy the template and post it or send it out lol.

You CAN add quad tip exhaust to a pre-2013 or keep the OEM lower fascia by careful trimming. I wanted to do something different to my 2011 GT, and said what the Hell, why not? 2013 GT500 mufflers on stock trimmed 2011 bumper. (had to ditch the Shelby snake badge...)

Borlas looked better, but were too loud with my long tubes and x-pipe...so I switched back to the oem GT500's.

ya from the research I've done, I've seen a lot of people makin their own exhaust combos, looks good thou! :beer:

Yea it would be very hard probably impossible to weld quads to a muffler Because the cutout is not center with the mufflers so the tips would have to be sorta offset

I've gone through several exhaust setups...with the stock midpipes in place, and using ARH longtubes/catted x-pipe, the Roush were too loud and didn't sound good, stock mufflers were too silent. Magnaflows were ok, but one of mine had a hole from a broken hanger, so I replaced them... 2012 GT500's were great, but the 2013 GT500's were a bit more quiet than the 2012's. Swapping to Borla S-type catback for 2013 GT500 was actually a bad move, just as loud as the Roush with longtubes...so I kept the borla over axle pipes on, and swapped back the oem 2013 GT500's, and it's a better sound than with the oem over axle pipes. Not too bad at lower rpms, throaty and muscular at speed. No drone, and a great tone! The Borlas look much better though. I'm going to trim the tips on the GT500 mufflers to make them fit more evenly, as the 2011 rear bumper differs from the 2013 contour.
