I started noticing this the other day. The belts squeak when I first crank up the car, but it seems to go away after the car has been running for about 15 mins. I checked the belts, and they are good and tight. Anyone else have this problem?

Check ALL the idler and tensioner pulley bearings. Known problem with these cars.

My 04 did the same thing with only 1000 miles on it. As BCM says it was the bearings on the idler.

Does it sound like a cricket's chirp? If so, check to see if it's your belt. Here's a quick test. While the car is running and making the noise, spray a mist of water on the belt. If the noise goes away for a few seconds and returns, it's your belt. Replace the belt and the noise will disappear. If the spray test doesn't quiet the noise for a few seconds it could be the bearings. But try the water test first.
