I have been neglecting both the car and this thread, apologies for that, we have been busy getting organized to go away next week and have family here for a couple of days. I did manage to get the seats recovered and had to put them in the car just to see how they look.

We are off to Australia today, I have the car covered up patiently waiting for our return. We will be gone a couple of months. I will post pics of anything automotive that I run across that is interesting. I will be lurking here mostly but will post when I can

Have fun. Out of all the places I've been Australia is the only one I wouldn't mind going back to.

Got out and about for a bit today, saw the back end of a mid’70’s vette in someone’s garage because he had the door open, looked to be operational, at least it didn’t have a bunch of junk piled on top of it. Also saw a ‘68 Camaro in a parking lot, only a brief glimpse of that too as we went by so no pics.. Off to Cairns tomorrow till the 18th.

Got a pic of this at coffee this morning, it’s Right hand drive, as is most stuff here, manual, looks like the guy(girl?) that owns it looks after it pretty well. I have seen a few newer mustangs around but not many and even fewer 5.0’s

Finally got a couple of pics of UTES. Seen lots but either they or I were on the move in opposite directions, these are pretty cool. The black one and the white ones are Holdens, the gold one is a Ford

Been wandering around the east coast of Australia for about 6 weeks now, I have seen a bunch of s550’s pretty much all 5.0’s. not seen a newer Camaro or Challenger yet. Lots of Ram 1500,s and Silverados and btw I saw a new Ram 1500 advertised on tv for 120k Aus!!!! Not sure what that converts too in USD though. The most popular pickup here is the Ranger, lots on the street with no shortage of Ranger Raptors. Have not seen a Bronco of any year/body style yet either. I have seen a couple of c4 corvettes and the back end of a 67/68 Camaro. Heading home in a week or so, hopefully get beck to work on my project but I am sure there will be a bunch of stuff I need to attend to on the house as soon as we get home. BTW, fave car colour here is white, followed by gold, you don’t see many gold coloured vehicles my area.

Well we came home a little early, we were getting tired obf hotels and AirBNB’s. Not to mention restaurant food. Had a pretty good time other than picking up Covid on the way there.
Ordered these from fleabay just before we left Australia and they arrived today. I didn’t really need the Workshop manual, I have the one for the Bullitt and not many differences there but I wanted the wiring diagrams for the cobra electrical side of things.

Ok folks, I must be suffering from brain damage or something. Maybe just a sign that I have had this thing apart too long.
Does anyone know where these belong? My paint guy dropped these off the other day and said he found them mixed in with some other misc bits, he said they had to be mine because he has never painted that colour before.
