Decided at the last min to take part in a test & tune today. This time I drove the car to the track (first time since late 09) which was a round trip of just over 345 miles. Pulled in, changed over to my drag wheels/tires and ran a new PB of 11.56. Backed it up about 30 mins later with another 11.56. Iced the intake for a bit, let it cool down and went another PB of 11.50 @ 118. The only change since last race was the addition of a MagnaFlow Pro Series CB Exhaust. The weather was great, sunny and temps stayed around 77 to 82 degrees with little humidity.

1/8 ET - 7.35 (OLD) - 7.32 (NEW)

1/8 MPH - 91.56 (OLD) - 92.84 (NEW)

1/4 ET - 11.60 (OLD) - 11.50 (NEW)

1/4 MPH - 117.19 (OLD) - 118.08 (NEW)

Congrats. You must have some cool weather to be running PB's in July. I am jealous. What was the DA on those runs?

I think I will switch to stiff sidewalls next season.

Temps were around 77-82 for most of day. Its a sea level track not sure on the DA. I'm thinking about picking up one of those weather stations soon so I can keep track of that stuff. I know during mid afternoon the pad temp was 119 degrees which hurt traction.

Damnn Dave congrats on the new times. 77 -82 degrees!! I wish, our track had a high of 100+ this weekend with the elevation at 1200 ft and DA well into 3000+.
