Another muffler question

Has there been any unbiased, dyno backed tests to see if using the factory mufflers compared to the aftermarket has caused any HP loss? I understand the sound differences but actual loss in performance?

Only one I've ever seen was from Corsa. Picked up a few HP. For the most part there are no gains.

I didn't think there was a loss in HP, but there is a loss in weight. About 9lbs per, compared to stock for the Corsa's. Every little bit counts.

Zip. Nada. No pros nor cons. Buy mufflers because you like the sound.
