Chrome! Old school triple plate chrome. I think it matches the wheels & the disc well. Most people dont even notice it. Those that do have liked it. Works for me. I like the look, something different.

make sure you keep the calipers clean.

chrome, brake dust and water dont play well together.

Thanks man. While I had them apart I went with Carbotech ceramic pads. Brake dust is nearly non-existent. Should have done that long ago!

What happen to your painted front splitter? Car looks incredible!

Thanks TJ! Splitter? It's the same. Just the top section was painted & stripes added. From the side view you just can't see it as much. I knew I'd scrape it some eventually on the lower edge & never had the bottom half painted.
Edit: I copied the coil cover wire tuck mod you did, looks way better. Thanks for that one!

Link? Applicable to 07-09 cars? I hate that passenger side wiring.

I forget where he posted it. TORQJNKY? If he dont chime in shoot him a PM. It takes some doing but it works well. It routes under the edge of the battery tray & I used a couple zippy ties to hold the wire loom down in a couple places. Nothing looks scary in the end as far as rubbing. Never had to cut anything either. Pretty much just bending the loom to make it travel down lower.

Looks good!

Do the carbotech and hawk pads give full rotor coverage?!? I didnt think the hawks did.

How bad are the stock pads with dusting?!? I am doing a conversion now and got the stockers.

The Carbotech's are the OEM size, not sure about the Hawks. The OEM pads make black dust like crazy. Not just the wheels but on the body too. The Carbotech makes nearly zero dust & what it does make is a lighter color more like grey.

Cool, if you keep this up you have to change your screen name from Cool Cobra to Chrome Cobra.

It even made the funky little back calipers look better. I applied 6 or 7 coats of liquid glass polish before install to make them easier to clean. The wierd Orange color is reflection from a car in the background.
