Hey Guys,

Need some help trying to determine a realistic value for my Rio Red Cobra convertible as I am tired of looking at it, being the in the way and want it GONE. The car has an Eaton swap BUT, I found it had low compression on the passenger side last spring and has been garaged since then. The drivers side averaged in the 140's - 150's and passenger side ranged from 100 to 140.

The car does run and drive "fine" outside of the blue smoke coming out of the pipes when getting on it. I bought the car in 2006 with the forged / stroked / Eaton swap from a forum member. Ran great and finally started modding it in 2013 with Kurgan tune, Billetflow upper pulley, complete FTBR bushing kit and then brand new 31 spline setup in 2014. The drivers side rear wheel arch was slightly damaged as I stupidly clipped the garage when pulling into my apt. garage many years ago. Work was done by a trusted friend and turned out great.

Here is the complete list of build:
Current Mileage: 90XXX

-Original 1999 Teksid Aluminum Block Bored .020 Over With 302ci Stroker Kit
-Mahle Custom 16cc Dished Pistons .020 Over

-Ford Performance HO Oil Pump
-Speed Pro Bearings
-Arp Head Studs
-1999 Cobra Heads(resurfaced, pressure tested, 3 angle seat cut, and valves cut and cleaned)

-Stock spoiler moved back 3 inches

INTERIOR
-CDC Light Bar

Suspension / IRS:
-FTBR Bushings including Diff lowering mount
-FTBR Deluxe Toe Links
-FTBR Adjustable Sway Bar End Links
-FTBR rebuilt knuckles, both sides.
-FTBR Eccentric Cam Bolts
-H&R Sport Springs
-MM ISOs, both up front, only tops in the rear
-Bilstein HD Struts and Shocks (Installed last spring)

Rear End
Ran the 28 spline setup w/4.10 gears until I noticed the the diff toast Fall of 2013. Everything was replaced spring 2014. with brand new FRPP / OEM parts and upgraded to 31 spline setup. The whole setup has less than 500 miles as it was garaged shortly afterwards:
-FRPP Diff Cover (Milled my FTBR)
-FRPP 31 Spline Diff
-FRPP 3.55 Gears
-Axle Bearing and Seal KIt
-IRS Bearings and Seal Kit
-Pinion Flange
-Pinion Seal

-Spec Stage 3 Clutch
-Spec Aluminum Flywheel
-MGW Blue Handle Short Throw Shifter

-Steeda Firewall Adjuster

EXHAUST
-Bassani Mid Length Headers
-Bassani Catless X-Pipe (welded together though)
-03/04 Cobra Catback (Used to have Stingers but those on the 04 Cobra)

FUEL SYSTEM
-Dual SVT Focus Pumps
-03/04 Cobra Baffled Fuel Tank
-03/04 39 lbs injectors
-Black306 Single Modified FPDM

I rate the paint 7.5 / 8 as I feel the clear is getting pretty thin along the front fenders, bumper and spoiler. The front bumper has some rash from not judging a step incline correctly. Interior is above average as well, no tears in the seats, passenger side and rears are in great condition. There is a small tear along the rear window of the convertible top.

Old pics of the car (Sorry Classics are on the 04 Cobra too). I'll update thread with current pics as I thought I had some but I cannot find them:

Any rate, let me know what you guys / gals think of where I should price this at as I'm ready to move on from it.

Imo, you're going to take a pretty big hit with a hurt motor. I would return it to stock, sell the car, sell the parts separately.

I myself wouldn't pay over 7k for that car with a hurt motor. If the car was healthy, 13-15

I completely agree on the hit, but something that I am okay with. I have thought about letting it go for 7k or less and calling it day.
