OK. SO it took me over an hourjust to drop the alternator.. I finally removed the bracket to drop it easier.

Question... so I have to remove the pully(it's stock), or does the new one come with it? Can just any shop remove it? I think I recall they need an impact gun to remove?

I'm not sure about cobras, but I got an alternator from autozone for my talon quite a few times (lifetime warranty) and it always came with a pulley on it.

Could be different for the cobra though. Call and ask them.

did you buy a factory replacement? usually they come with a pulley. if not, an impact will be needed to remove and install.

I bough the new lifetime warrenty replacement one from Nappa. Does this qualify as facotry or that would have been from ford?
