I actually give more warnings than I give tickets. If someone is apologetic and truly sorry for doing what they did, then I have no problem with a break, depending on the offense. If someone is traveling 15mph over in Ga, that is the minimum I can stop them for. I usually reduce it to 14 over (fine, but no points) or just let them go. If they are 18+ over, they get the ticket.. too many fatalities I have to work.
What really chaps my ass is hearing someone intentionally run away, and then come on the forum here and brag about it. If I knew the officer I would forward this too them so they can sit and wait on his ass to leave one day.
