Airbag Light is On- No Blinking

Just did a large rebuild on my car (link below) and now I have a steady air bag light. The light turns on and stays on when the key goes to the ON position, the light does not blink at all. I've seen many threads where people report the light blinking but nothing about when the light is solid.

The light staying solid is because there is a fault in the SRS. Given the fact that you did a large rebuild I'd start checking harnesses so see if any of them may have been damaged and also start checking to make sure all the SRS sensors are plugged in and make sure that the pins in the plugs are pushed in their seats properly both the male and female plugs.

Check for power at rcm

Sorry about the delayed response!

F2-36 was hot with key ON
Visual inspection of fuse showed it to be integral
Decided to try another fuse and voila! light goes away
I tested the fuse that visually appeared to be good, it tested bad. Another reminder to ensure that you TEST your fuses rather than just visually inspecting.

Had the same issue with a fuse on my yard tractor. Looked fine, but it was dead with a meter test.
