Anyone running aftermarket coil packs? I'm running tr7 plugs and at idle I get some what feels like misfiring. Tuner said something regarding the coil packs but I don't know squat about them.

Any brand suggestions?

While they may be capable of firing a hotter spark, they generally are way more prone to failure than the OEM COPs. What are you gapping your plugs at? If you had a bad or misfiring COP, it would be way more obvious under load.

I had a shop do all the install including the plugs so I don't know what they were gapped at. The car runs perfect under load it's just at idle that I get the "misfiring", if you can call it that.

I can log the car, what parameters should I be looking at?

Are tr7's too much for 650whp? Should I be at tr6's?

Also vmp recommended Brisk plugs, can't remember if it was the gr14ys's or the gr12ys's but the shop I used said always use the tr7's for my application.

@VNMOUS1 car has a 2.5 pulley and should only be making 15-16 psi.

I'm the one who emailed you this morning, btw.
