AED Tuned/New Member

Hi SVT Team,

I have been lurking around quite a bit and have read many great posts and decided its time to register. I’m new to the Mustang world, but not new to performance cars/drag racing. I have been racing over 30-yrs and have a division one super comp dragster and a 69 super pro Camaro.

I purchased a 2013 Mustang (GT) MT-82 trans 3:73 gears back in August. The car has 213 miles on it.

I just purchased an AED tune and SCT tuning device and loaded the tune today. I noticed the unit had two tunes to select from. I believe performance and drag tune.

I selected the drag tune. What is the difference between the two tunes?

I also noticed the ABS light keeps flashing after I installed the drag tune. Is the ABS system turned off?

The car will be used on the street only (grocery getter).

Drag tune would be for the track only. Don't drive on the street with it.

Welcome. I just use the performance tune...not sure what the difference is :shrug:

Your track tune basically is the same...BUT with all the nannies taken off ( ABS, advance track, et) so that you will get the most out of your car at the track...

Turning OFF the Traction Control switch in SCT has always triggered the ABS light.
