Stock shifter. Stock clutch. Clutch mods include JHR clutch line, removal of assist spring, and Motul RBF 600 fluid.

Regarding the 28" tires: I tried 28's. I went 12.1's at 114-115 in 2,000 DA. Tires too tall and killed the gearing.

The MpH at New England Dragway is off by about 2 mph as the timing gear that measures speed in the last 66' or whatever it is was damaged a couple of years ago and reads 2 mph slower than comparable passes at like DA of other tracks.

Car seemed to love the 26" tire and rpm appeared to be 7,400 past the score boards which are just beyond the finish line. Speedo showed 120-122 range, which would support around a 118 mph actual trap.

Great times and nice car. These Boss 302s are really impressive. For what it's worth,My 03 Cobra made 427rw and went 121 @ NED in 90 degree weather. This makes me think that something is up with your mph also.:??:

I would love to see one of these cars with bolt ons and a 4.30 gear and a good tire.:beer:

Yeah, the mph was a disappointment like I said.

In my original post here I noted that my friend's 11 GT auto which has had an issue of shutting off at 7,000 rpm in 4th gear actually ET'd better great DA when we were at NED this particular day, but trapped about 2 mph SLOWER at NED than it did at Lebanon Valley running an ET that was about 3 tenths slower at Lebanon.

That's a great MPH on the Cobra though for 427 rwhp at NED. For comparison my GT500 when it only had a pulley/tune/4.10 would trap 122-124 at NED at around 11.44-11.49 range with 506 rwhp. So who know's??? Maybe it's the car or driver causing the low trap speeds! Lol. I wish I was smarter to figure it out, I just drive it! Lol

Interestingly, the Boss was running quicker in the 1/8 than my pulley/tune GT500 did.
