Accidentally destroyed my mirror on my newly bought Cobra. Need some advice/help

The motor is pretty easy. I had to replace mine when I broke it trying to get the glass off to change the pad. You don't need to pull the wiring through. Once you get the motor unscrewed you'll see where the harness plugs in. Makes life a lot easier.

So you can undo those 3 screws, get the motor out and it’s plug and play?

I thought the folding housing was unique but assumed all the guts were the same (glass, motor etc...)

I’ve looked for the glass before. It’s pretty cheap for the specific 03/04 folding mirror. Around $20

Hmmm...I wonder if that would fit the 94-98 export mirrors as well. Thinking I should grab a spare set of the glass before its no longer available.
