This was written by a black person in Texas. What a great sense of humor and creativity! Im a white guy myself and I thought this was a pretty funny thing so I thought I would share it with you guys.



Colored Folks

When I born, I black,
when I grow up, I black,
when I go in sun, I black,
when I cold, I black,
when I scared, I black,
when I sick, I black,
and when I die, I still black.

You white folks....
when you born, you pink,
when you grow up, you white,
when you go in sun, you red,
when you cold, you blue,
when you scared, you yellow,
when you sick, you green,
and when you die, you gray.
So, who you callin' colored folks ?

I think folks sometimes need to chill out about the race thing, and have a laugh at ourselves. Anyone see the show mind of mencia on comedy central last night, I was laughing so hard I was almost crying it was great, he really tackles race and makes you laugh about it
