You're probably right. In granny low, it feels like it has the torque to twist the drive shaft like a bread tie. When I lived near Seattle I used to pull a 7000 lb fishing boat out of the water on a 30 degree incline.....at idle. This thing would idle up the side of a redwood tree if I could find a way to get traction.
