So guys I'm about to get a Stressless Legcomfort recliner. But before I move forward on this, I'm curious if any of you have any suggestions for a recliner that is plush, comfortable AND won't fall apart in 3 years?
Let me do you a solid right now and tell you do not spend a nickel on Lazy Boy Furniture of any kind. They're not what they used to be. I was so fed up with my last lazy boy set I gave it away. I wanted it completely out of my houseI’ve wanted a Lay-Z-Boy for years. But every time I even consider pulling the trigger, I realize that I’m more of an overstuffed leather couch kind of guy.

Literally. Looked at the weak points. It's put together with staples. That was the recliner.Fell apart?

Sofa what is misaligned and I went through the warranty process with Lazy Boy. They admitted it was put together bad and never should have left the factory in such condition. They never fixed it I would never buy another piece of furniture buy Lazy Boy or associated with that company again and I will dissuade anyone from purchasing their products
Yeah I just looked online and saw they went to junk.
That's sad, La-Z-Boy used to be the shit. My great grandparents bought one of their couches back in I'm guessing the mid to late 90s, I really don't remember as I was a kid back then but I remember them using it for years. They passed away in 2010 and that couch was still there when my parents bought the place. They used the couch for 4 years before I took it when I moved to a new place. I used the couch for 3 more years before my (now wife) decided it was too ugly and we sold it to some college kids living next door.
It was some ugly pea green color but damn it was still in amazing shape when we let it go. That couch had to be about 20 years old.
As in you went to the pa community and placed an order??Buy some shit from the Amish, our couch was ~9k and 10 years later it’s still as plush and comfortable as the day it was new. Never regretted that purchase. Everything was customized from the fabric and stitching to the stain and piping, even the throw pillows were exactly how you wanted.
You can buy them through some retailers. As in you went to the pa community and placed an order??
