Thanks for the compliments guys!

Cool car man, I've always liked that particular body style because it's different, and I like different. Enjoy it man, you will find also that the Mopar crowd is a very passionate bunch!

You aren't kidding there. I've already gotten some flack over some "incorrect" things that were done by the previous owner. Makes me want to LS swap it and really piss those weirdos off.

That thing is gorgeous Lance. Any interior/engine bay shots?

Thanks sir. I'm a little embarrassed to post those pictures because I haven't got a chance to give it a detailing inside yet, and the engine bay is FUGLY, but I'll post up anyways, next weekened I have 3 days off and I'm going to pull the motor and trans and clean/paint everything up.

Really nice Barracuda. Very nicely done. I like the hood. No, I LOVE that hood. Nice motor, too. Bigs and littles give it that nice Super Stock look. Well done! I used to own a '71 Duster 340. That motor, too, was mildly modded (Tarantuala intake manifold, Holley 650 double pumper, Hooker headers, Accel ignition and a couple of other bits and pieces. As nice as my Duster was, it pales to your gorgeous Barracuda. I love it!

Just wanted to bump this for a shot of my new and improved engine bay! If you look at the before picture half way down in the comments, it looks a tiny bit better now!

Did the official first fire up today since being back together and things felt good so I decided to take it out tonight. The girlfriend and I drove it around for quite a while and aside from a small issue to address it all went pretty well, and it ran great, and to my surprise brought a lot of compliments at a local cruise in. Made me feel pretty good. Had a blast!

I almost picked on of those up, I can't remember exactly but it was the trim with the huge and I'm sure super expensive rounded and curved rear glass. I always wanted to throw a t56 and a carbed 6.1 in that guy. Car looks amazing. You really should be proud of it!!

You sure cleaned up the engine bay nicely. Which Edelbrock intake manifold is that? Is it the RPM Air-Gap high-rise?

I would so LOVE to have your Barracuda sitting in my garage. Gorgeous in every way!

Thats badass. I encountered one of these on the freeway some months ago. It had a little get up and go to it also. We both did some friendly fly by's on each other and when he did his.....

^^^^^^^
That was my face LITERALLY!!

I completely agree the sound from an old muscle car fly by is well..... nothing better imho

A-bodies ftw! I have a '69 Dart with a 408 magnum swap. Check out forabodiesonly.com if you haven't already, lots of good tech on there.
