99 cobra 28 spline Half Shaft rebuild questions

The CV on my drivers side half shaft is leaking grease and starts squeaking after about 15 minutes of driving. Since replacement 28 spline half shafts for a 99 are pretty much impossible to find I was wondering if I can have the CV rebuilt? If so could anyone could recommend a shop. Would be a bonus if the shop is in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Or as another option does anyone have some 28 spline half shafts they would like to sell?

I have a pair of 28 splines which I will no longer need. I'll take pics of them tonight when I get home.

Cool. How many miles are on them?

Can't send PM to you since you don't have enough posts. I bought them last summer from a member and if I recall one half - shaft had less than 1k miles and the other had less than 3k miles. I probably added 500 miles or so after that. They are dirty and dusty from sitting around in the garage but I didn't see any tears on the boots.

My problem actually ended up being the wheel bearing and the rear knuckle was messed up. However the boot on the CV is leaking grease and I am sure it is only a matter of time before I need to do something about that. I did find a place that will remanufacture the axle but since these are hard to find I would not mind having a couple extra laying around just in case. I sent you a friend request (not sure if that will get around the problem of not being able to pm me or not).
