I am finished cleaning everything up and didn't take a picture of the order that the plates and gaskets go on. The Haynes manual shows a 96 with aluminum IMRCs and I have the 98 plastic IMRCs.
So in the book, it shows ..... directly on the head is first, the thick gasket, then IMRC plates, then the intake manifold?
To me it looks like it should be: first, directly on the head the IMRC plates (the plastic 98 IMRCs have a silicone gasket inserted into the recess of bottom of the IMRC plate), then the thick separate gasket, then the intake. Which is correct for the 98s?
Thanks!
