Would there be any significant gain by swapping to 03 Cobra cams in my 97 Cobra? Or is it not worth the trouble? The car is gonna stay N/A for a while till i build the bottom end, but i might do some head porting and such first on the B heads.
But i found i good deal on a set of cams, just wanna know if I should get them or not. Thanks.

No, not worth it in any means, spend the money else where.

Thanks for the info....Ill stay with the bump sticks i got then. What would be a good set of cams to put in now, and run NA for a while, but not have to change them again when i add the blower? Or would the stock ones work the best for now, then change em out for blower cams afterwards?

Something mild would work both for now and with a supercharger. Mild cams may even boos your low end some which would help if you plan to run a centrifical supercharger.

Do you have any recommendations for this approach? I also have to keep in mind the car temporarily is my daily driver.

Im a little confused on what is considered mild or extreme for these engines. Are the FR500 cams too aggressive? What cam specs should i be looking into?

Sorry about all the questions. Im a noob when it comes to cams on these engines; So all of your cam knowledge is greatly appreciated.
