Always loved 93 R's.

So is your friends car only temporarily there? I wonder how that works.

While I agree, the previous owner put them on and he likes them. To each his own I guess. A badass car none the less.

What an awesome piece of Ford history. Your friend obviously has some awesome cars. A 2000 R is my dream Mustang.

If I was going to have my car shown off at ford HQ I would have taken those stupid headlight covers off so the car would look like it did back in 1993.

what was the occasion? how come it was on display?

I love the 93R but the hp is pathetic.

while compared to todays times and world of 200 -300hp 4 door kia hyundai and honda 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder sedans, but mm&ff got mid 13's with a stock 1 with tire only dr' swap years back link below to the article and times, and bone stock stock tires low 14's @100, 13.6@101 is not bad for a car from 1993 , even the corvettes,lt1 slowmaros, porsche, ferarri's werent much faster then that?Of top of my head only thing faster then that back in 1993 was the viper and corvette zr1. power to weight was key and handled really good :poke:

Heres the article

00 vs 95 vs 93 Cobra R Article

they ran 13.61@101 almost call it a 13.6@102 with that trap pretty good for the low power back in 1992-1993

Your right in the fact that the cars from that era had no power. Of course there were a few exceptions and around 91 that all began to change. Am glad am growing up in today's modern muscle car renissance and I do love the 93. But it wouldn't be in my collection. I love to drive my cars and I'd hate to have to mod such a rare car.
