I loved the F cam! I had basically the same setup on my Black 93 Cobra with the E cam, stock inj. fuel rails ... but the Fcam just has great pull on the top end and a little more lope.

I was very happy with the car and how it ran, the only thing I really needed was a set of aluminum heads as the Iron GT40's did not dissapate heat very well.

My black 93' Cobra was my first and this car was a donor when I bought the red one from my parents (had planned to store but two years later they gave up!) I had all of the porting and extrude honing done with this car as well as the Ecam. This car ran like a monster on the the motor, so I knew when I installed the blower it would be fun. The car went 13.07 @ 107mph on regular radials.

 hehe yea i bet 20lbs would feel pretty nice. but i kinda plan to use the stock short block to at least 50k :D
im actually affraid im gonna have to pulley down the charger as it is because right now i see anywhere from 10-12 psi pending on weather. im almost scared about the psi its gonna make once i install my upr boostmaster intake pipe, 80mm maf and larger air filter!
i dunno we'll see, prolly by the end of august. (just in time for fall racing :burnout: )

Are you running the stock(3.33/6.87)
Pulleys now? 10-12lbs with out the powerpipe is awsome!
That pipe is even better in the winter! I have seen 1-2lb
diff. in the winter with just a powerpipe!(I was running
stock pulleys)

yea man, stock pulleys and everything. ive actally called vortech to check pulley sizes, serial numbers, etc. on the charger, just to make sure i really only had a sq-trim. the guy was like i dunno you must have a restriction some where. im like...ok. ive got aftermarket exhaust but everything else is stock with only at the time like 14,000 miles on the OD. -yea right ive got a restriction!
ive actually gone as far as getting some gauges from work and duct taping them to the windshield and had my girl friend read out what the boost numbers were as i blasted down the street. while my autometer gauge read 12-13psi the other 3 gauges read 11-12psi so i going by those-thinking the autometer is reading a little high! like i said i dunno im kinda affraid the boost numbers after all that stuff is installed  :xpl:

I tell you Bryan, I would not worrie to much about it?
Now if you see 15Lbs or something I would Be carefull.
( I doubt it though) Just as long as your AFR is good,
which you already know it will be ok! Bad tune is what will
blow your head gaskets. I would say with the GT40
heads Etc. (Stock motor is why you are seeing that much
boost. Man I hope I can see that much with stock pulleys
and a better poweradder one day?
BTW, Did you say that you are still running the 24's.
I think so, I would be ditching them first before any more
bolton power parts! Take care. Chris

Are you planning on changing the ecu? Sometimes the new MAF will work against the cobra ecu, and that is why I swapped for the A9L.

yea i hear ya man. im not a big fan of the 93-95 eec's. i plan on swapping from my 92 gt the eec's then also installing the cobra's stock maf into the gt-because of the programing differences. you think the gt will run alright as long as i keep the maf and cobra eec combo together? (the gt has 24# inj. too)

Well I need to put a slick on the car the next time I run.

When I was getting the car tuned it ran a best of 12.8 @ 123 on a street tire.

Next time I'll put a slick on and turn up the boost.
