What does it take for a 07-09 gt500 to run a 9 sec time? Six speed and full interior of course. 700whp, 800whp, or 900+? Can it be done with the stock long block?

I agree but at 900 h.p. even with a full weight car you should be in 9's pretty easy on a well prepped track.
An ET like that is all In the first half of the track... Unless your car picks up 40mph on the back half, there is no way a 9 will happen with a shit ball 1/8th.
ill let you know im trying to be the first in the 9s on the stock 2.1 eaton trying without nos but more than likley going to need to go 9s i think 10 teens is all on eaton without nos i make 700 rwhp gone 10.30s multiple times in 08 stock motor stock blower car with crappy 60 foots 1.470
