How much of a horsepower and torque did I loose by dropping from 9.85:1 compression to 9.0:1? Is there anyway to find out? I tried searching but that feature for whatever reason did work. Thanks

FWIW - From a historical perspective, the drop in compression ratios between 1970 and 1971/72 were approx. 30h.p.-40h.p for a 2 point drop. <<<If this can even be related to the engines being built now?? Back in that day, an engine that was rated at 360h.p. with 11.5c.r. in 1970 was dropped to 330h.p. with a 9.5c.r. in 1971/72 and all other engine parts the same, heads, cam, etc.

If this can be applied to you, I would guess, 12-18 or so h.p.?
