I feel ya man. I love mustangs, but have to try the other flavors to see how they taste. Ive gotten a couple kills with mine, but for the most part it hasn’t seen much action.

You must be talking about a used GT. A new, loaded GT is near, I believe, $52K.

That wasn't an R, though. I'm guessing you're in the camp that believes the only quantifiable difference between the R and regular GT350 is the tires?

Nobody is comparing the GT350R to the ZL1 1LE. (Well, Zyborg tried to.) So please don't get that started. And, no, the SS 1LE is NOT an "honest to god good comparison" to the GT350R. A regular GT350, sure. The GT350R, no.

Yup, and some tweaking makes a huge difference. My uncle races Boxster spec and he can lap GT3s and Turbos all day long at VIR in a prepped 2.5L 986.

Exactly. Universities are ran just like a Socialist state, where the government employees reap all of the benefits. This is still not the banks fault. They loan the money. The universities both private and public are the problem.

Banks and lending institutions are making interest. Its the next generation of credit card debt of lifetime compounding interest. Except they nabbed them at an earlier age, when mortgage prices jump.

I guess we'll need to get a video of Randy Probst driving my car and a another car the same day with identical atmospheric conditions.

Well yea... It is, you have a lot of seat time from what I have seen, what skill level are those guys? Last track day I was beating up on a 350R with a new driver, doesnt mean my car is even remotely as fast. The variance in driver level is huge, Im sure you know that. This aint roll racing..

A 350R on R888R and full suspension would definitely be faster than your car with equal drivers

The white car was indeed an R. I've seen it first hand and worked with George from MGW to put a shifter on it. And the gentleman driving it has plently of bike and car track experience.

Again, until you track the GM variants on the same day as a GT350/R you'll never see or feel the inherent weakness in the Ford(s). Quite simply, the 1LE gets the job done quicker and for quite a bit less money. The ZL1 kicks over the Christmas tree, pisses in the Cheerios, and will have you crying for mommy in a heartbeat at the track as your high winding snake becomes a distant memory in the rearview mirror. I wish it were the other way around but it isn't.

The ZL1 1LE is no joke, the GT350R is no match for that car. Maybe if the GT350R was 3000lbs and DCT it would put up a good fight (thats basically GT3 specs).

Here is me today on a true road course with my 125hp and 100TW tires vs a fully race prepped 600hp V12 Vantage on Hoosiers. Just circumstance? absoluuuuutely. (Sorry about the awful screeching sound, not sure wtf that is)
