Had some good responses before on the car in the 'post a new picture of you car' thread, figured I could share where the car is now.

1979 Malibu, 6.0 Iron block/4L80E trans out of GMC pickup.
-Small turbo cam, stock 243 heads, PTC Converter
-S475 T6 turbo, E85 fuel

First time I've seen your Malibu. VERY nice. Looks as tough as I'm sure it moves. 837 wheel horsepower is significant. Thanks for sharing it with us. Love it!

10-15 years ago everybody was putting those 5.3/6.0 engines with a turbo in foxbodies.

Basically head studs and a cam in an engine they got out of the junk yard for 1000 and dudes were deep into the 9s

Brought back memories.
A buddy had a white one back when we were racing all the time in the mid 90s.
He’s gone now but I remember it well.
I almost bought it when his wife put it for sale. Turbos were not common back then. He had a aluminum headed 427 in it. Sounded wicked too.
