74.5 Belt Question

I am about to put a 2.76 pulley with all the idlers on. I was wondering has anyone got the 74.5" belt on without notching the tensioner.

I went from a 74.5" belt to a 75.1" belt when I added the idlers...

You need the 75.1, if you slip...the tighter the better

I had a 74.5 on without notching but my upper iddler was 90 mm not 100

I ran a 74" belt with a 2.75 and all idlers, but my tensioner was notched. Without notching it would be rough to get the belt on.

im running 74.5 without the notch and still slipping and have belt dust all over....im going to 74 today see if it helps and just notched the tensioner. Aslo using the 4 piece idler bf

Im run n a 74.5 gator with 100mm idler, I had a 74 but was way too tight needed two people to get it on. I have no belt slip with my 74.5

I'm Running the 74.5 with a 2.76 and 4 pc Idlers but my Tensioner is notched. It's easy to do.
