700whp 3.1litre VR6 into an Audi 90 Coupe

Saw an interesting conversion going on at Metrick Methodz. 700whp VR6 getting pulled from the shop race car and put into an Audi 90 coupe for street use. Running a Motec standalone the motor has more in it but he could not get 700 to the ground with a spooled front wheel drive. The race car only weighed 2500lbs and trapped over 150 this past summer at Bandimere. Are most external wategates water cooled?

With AWD the 90 should put the power to the ground much better. Hope to get some video with him soon.

Saw the car again this past weekend. Recaro seats are in. Tuning and body shop coming up.

He will be tuning for E85.

I don't currently have them. I do know they are using a factory made adapter plate from a Euro only VR6 Phaeton. Not sure what tranny he is using. Custom driveshaft had to be made also. He bought the car as a roller. No engine or tranny. He does realize there will probably be upgrading driveline as it breaks.

Things have been slow with the Audi 90. He is doing it up right though. Upgraded interior, Recaro's, Porsche brakes etc. It is out of paint though. This is a white the Viper used.

This is a mild swap compared to what his buddy does out in Philly. Anything confusing about this Corrado?
