As dumb as it sounds....I started counting cycles. I didn't count clutching from a stop, just gear changes.
Also every open stretch of 55mph road I could find, I would gently down shift to a stop and then take off gently, getting multiple cycles!
On my specific in-town "circuit" I would average 128 cycles each way to and from work. Mcleod recommends 1200 cycles. I had roughly 1300 cycles on my RXT and I started applying boost in low stress situations ie. higher rpm & lower gear, not during gear changes or low rpm/high gear.
I finally started beating on it today and everything seems good.
Make sure you have your cycles! It sucks to count....but then you know for sure! After the money and time....I want this clutch to LAST!!
