4 Point guys in here....

Looking to do a 4 point weld in. However, I refuse to cut my interior 1/4's. Anyone know of a place that sells them that goes through the seat delete instead of the interior panels?

I have a MM 6 point bolt in with removable side bars. The rear 2 supports squeeze between the rear seat and the panel. My rear panels are not cut.

Interesting. All the MM kits I've seen cut the panels. You have a pic by chance?

Only the verts have the bars between the seats.

Now here is a question. Can I order the one for the vert to use in a coupe? I don't have a back seat anyways.

I need a cage also and I don't have the heart to cut my baby up....

If all else fails. Find a couple extra 1/4 plastics and hole them instead of originals, for the mm bar.

I've contemplated this as well. I'm probably not going to do a cage, but if I did, I would try this - drill a hole only, slightly larger diameter than the cage, don't slice the panel all the way. Then cut off the mounting plate, weld on a larger diameter bar and slide the cage bar into it, and weld them back together. With weld being stronger than metal, I would think this may hold up. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, sounds a bit ghetto rigged but I think it may work?
