So first I decided on 3.73 vs 4.10 but 3.73 is totally out now, the 3.27s on are SUCH A DOG that the cobra literally feels like a 2 cylinder until you hit 4000 RPM (why ford..). So I'm trying to decide between 4.10 vs 4.30 now. I do mainly city driving so the mpg doesn't matter much (what's the difference though?), I would like 4.30 but the thing is I don't only drag race, I love canyoning so I have to go between 2-3-4-2 in the gears really quickly and I feel like 4.30s would be too much torque and there mainly used for drag racing. I just REALLY wana feel that power when I slam on the gas in first gear (second gear doesn't do jack for me) and not have to build up to 4000 RPM to even feel something. Opinions? This is coming from a 17 GT Performance package with 3.73 so I kinda miss that coyote acceleration.

If you have a 96-01 cobra I would say if you can find a set of ford racing 4.30s go with them. The 96-01 cobras had terrible tq unless you change cams. If you can't find some ford racing 4.30 go with ford racing 4.10s

yeah I think I'll probably go with 4.10s for my style of driving, it's to the point where if I'm rolling 5 mph and I go up a 30 degree ramp in second gear my car is literally stalling with these 3.27s

They used them for mpg. But really gearing the car to 4.10s or 4.30s doesnt effect the mpg that much in a 4v. In fact in city driving you may get a bump in mpg. Car works less when geared right.

would the pull from a 4.30 be that much faster than a 4.10? Let's say 2nd gear roll 40 mph
