380hp ford lightning

i have a question, is a ford lightning's 380hp at the rear wheels or at the fly. If its a the fly then thata bouts 300hp. what are ure thoughts

It's at the flywheel. I don't think there has ever been a vehicle marketed in the history of mankind with rwhp because it would put the automotive company selling the vehicle at a disadvantage.

well if its only 300hp then thats awsome becasue a 4500lbs truck with 300hp runs a 13. A vette might break a high 12 with 350hp and weighs 1000lbs less

The Lightning is an awesome truck. As for a Z06, I have heard they usually dyno between 320-350 at the wheels and have no trouble what so ever breaking into the 12's. Many stock Z06's break into the 11's.

a 350 hp vette could break a high 12's maybe, correct me if im wrong and the z06 on the other hand with a good driver possible high 11's

Most stock L's dyno between 325-335 RWHP. But there have been a few freaks, Jonathan's 03 with just a catback dynoed at 365 rwhp.

These trucks are quite underrated. Just look at my sig. I make the advertised flywheel torque at the rearwheels. Thats almost 500 at the fly

The Lightning's driveline loss is only 11%. Very efficient driveline compared to most. 380 hp - 11% = 338 hp. + or -
