347 Stroker Kit???

waht can a 347 NA car do....on a slick set up good...11s on motor hu?

347 are just fine for the srteet..
I have had 3 of them...
Issues thay have had in the past are all but gone if you buy the right kit..
And they cost the same as the smaller strokes...
I made anywhere from 460 to 530 in my setups...{the 530 was a strip only}
With the right heads and cam combo, the skys the limit...
Hell, even if you cant do the heds and stroke @ the same time, just stroke, and do the heads later...
Hell, you would have a troque monster....!!

Just kicken the bucket a bit... can u add a supercharger to a stroked motor? what adv. and disadv? if not how can iget the most poer out of a 5.0 engine without comprimizing drivability???

So what can i do with the stock block? Nothing? what kinds of mods would i have to make in the car to get it really moving...

Get a 347..or better yet buy mine...look in the cars for sale I have a notch with a 347 and MINT!!...thats the only way I would go if your going to keep the stock block for awhile.....see 11s na with a good set up..

A stock block is good to about 500-550hp with limited rpm. Some say you can make more with a girdle, but they are time-bombs in my opinion.

To ''really get it moving", a solid 347 is the best without a blower, or a good supercharger on the stock shortblock with good heads/cam/intake are the best stock block opinions.

BTW, if your used to the stock motor with mild bolt-ons, either of these will blow you away.

347 stroker sounds expensive to hav done????

My buddy spent over 4k into his 347, and the only thing he didnt do was assemble the shortblock. For 400rwhp on pump gas,N/A efi, you gotta pay to play.
