That would be a waste and a shame..

it would be worth snatching it up for the engine alone.

A while back guys were paying the cost of the entire car just for that engine.

My Chevy buddy and I joked about buying one, swapping in an LT1 and selling them separately for probably a $6k profit. He said he had a really tough time with the idea though lol.
