They're not. The author of that article doesn't seem to know what he's covering. The only thing related to the Aurora about that block is the bellhousing bolt pattern. It's a GM 24502650 Race Block:

I vaguely remember the twin turbo version used in indy cars. I must have read that when the aurora came out.
